Standard Yellow Hive Tool

The hive tool is an essential piece in the beekeeper’s tool kit and not something you want to forget when going to the bee yard to inspect your hives. The hive tool is used to: pry the lid off, remove bur comb, separate bee boxes from one another, remove debris, remove frames and even scrape off stings. 

This inexpensive model is made of steel and painted yellow. It has a straight edge for scraping, a slot for pulling out nails, and a curved end for separating and removing frames.
