2025 Bees - 5 Frame Nuc of Bees

Pre-order a Nuc of bees now for the 2025 Spring beekeeping season.  Bees are for pick up only. We do not ship bees.  Nuc Pickup Date:  To Be Determined (April 2025, usually on a Thursday and Friday evening from 8-9pm).  We will send out an email the beginning of April 2025 so you can schedule your pickup day and time.

The Valley Hive Nuc of Bees is an established colony of bees on 5 deep Langstroth frames.  Because a nuc is an established colony, the bee population will expand quickly, and you may even be lucky enough to get honey in the first year (no promises though). The nuc consists of:
•    An Unmarked Queen
•    Worker Bees
•    5 Deep Langstroth Frames with Drawn Out Wax
The included frames will contain a combination of brood, pollen and honey.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:
We hope that you understand, bees are live animals and are provided “as is” without any warranties. We cannot issue refunds once the bees have left our property.   In the rare event, you suspect there is a problem with your nuc of bees, please contact The Valley Hive immediately so we can help you.  Please check your order before you submit payment as orders are subject to a $10 change fee after payment has been processed.
REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE APRIL 1ST
Orders for packages of bees and nucs of bees may be canceled and refunded with a $50 restocking/cancellation fee, until March 31, 2025.

There will be no refund if you need to cancel your order starting April 1, 2025, your payment will be forfeited.  If bees are not picked up on the scheduled pickup day, your funds will be forfeited. 

BEE PICK UP
Bee pick-up day will be scheduled for a day in April 2025 at The Valley Hive in Chatsworth. As soon as we have an exact day, we will communicate via email with a pick-up date and times. We do our best to keep customers updated as to the arrival date. However, typically we do not know the exact date until a few weeks beforehand. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the arrival date of bees may change. In the past, Nuc pick up day has been on a Thursday and Friday Evening (8pm to 9pm), and we hope to schedule it this way again for April 2025. Keep this in mind when placing your order. If bees are not picked up on the scheduled pick-up day, your funds will be forfeited.

As soon as an arrival date is known, we will send out an email with important pick-up details. Make sure to respond, so that we know you have received the information. Every attempt will be made to contact you about the bees; however, it is incumbent upon you to pick up the bees at the appointed time stated by The Valley Hive.
